Kim Saunders had an opporutnity to find out. At 43, while mothering her young daughter, she was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer. "When faced with the realization that the time I had left was finite, I got very focused and clear about my priorities. It was a real eye-opener. I used to schedule every minute, rush everywhere, and constantly stress about getting everything 'done'. Now there is breathing space in my life," she says. " I schedule exercise and personal time as top priorities and take time to savor life each day. And now its time for me to give back. I'd like to provide the opportunity for other women to discover the satisfaction of self-growth, discovery and reflection."

Kim, a licensed professional counselor, yoga instructor and spa therapist says that her life experiences, more than her degrees, inspire and motivate her students and clients. Her inspiring and self reflective workshop Enrich You! is a rare opportunity for women of any age to come hear her remarkable story and learn from her experience. Kim Saunders walks her talk. She practices what she preaches. She is offering this workshop to ensure that other women don't wait until they have a life threatening illness before they take time for themselves.

This workshop is led by Kim Saunders, a licensed psychotherapist and 13-year esthetician specializing in Wellness and Anti-Aging. She will teach you tips and techniques to address both the physical and mental concerns of aging.

From Worrier to Warrior: Finding Your Strength in Uncertain Times

Have you felt some anxiety or depression regarding the state of the economy lately? In this interactive workshop, Kim will give you practical and useful tips on how you can change your mood from stressed to strength. You'll learn some easy (and perhaps new!) yoga poses to increase energy and reduce stress. You'll learn several useful breathing patterns to change an anxious or depressed state. There will be easy and tasty menu ideas to raise your energy. As a yoga teacher and psychotherapist, Kim loves to combine both the physical and emotional aspects in order to achieve a state of optimal health and balance. Yoga and Chocolate

Would you like to experience life's simple, luxurious little pleasures? Slip away to quiet your mind, allow time for inner bliss and enjoy the things that make life worth living!

As a phychotherapist and certified yoga instructor, this class is designed to raise endorphin levels and reduce stress hormones in the body. Through breath work, gentle movement and healthy, luxurious dark chocolates from Vosges, you can indulge your senses and experience the simple rewards of life! The yoga postures will be appropriate for all levels.

"Well! Let me just say, the Yoga and Chocolate class was such a treat. I highly recommend it. We did a variety of things which kept it interesting. Delicious little morsels of chocolate were introduced here and there throughout the practice. We stretched, we did poses, we got our heat rates up, we laughed, we sighed, we did deep cleansing breathing, and of course had some wonderful relaxation time. There were a few other pleasant surprises, but I won't spoil the fun in case you end up going! Kim has creatively put together a class that I think anyone would enjoy, even IF yo dn't like chocolate! There were some women who had never taken yoga before. What a cool intro to Yoga! This unique opportunity would be a special treat for yourself or a gift to a friend."
